Have you considered playing chess with AIR?
The game has been played for centuries and remains one of the most challenging and exciting board games. A certain amount of concentration is required to develop strategies and also see and counter the traps that may be set by an opponent and this serves to keep our ageing minds alert.
For those that have not played before, there is an opportunity to learn the game with the AIR chess group that meets every Friday at 1.30pm until 3.30pm at The Railway View on Byrons Lane (Just over the bridge). If you are interested, please contact David Luke on 01625 827070 (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Graham Calvert on 01625 410884.
