From Jenkins Chapel to Charles Head

Another great walk on a Monday morning and the weather was great to enjoy the great views. We started off at Jenkins Chapel.

We walked along the road and then setoff up the hill. If we did not think it was sheep country a farmer with a sense of humour reminded us.

The sun soon cleared any lingering mist away and we were treated to some great views.

We walked past idyllic farm buidings

and climbed even higher….

before we took our well earned break.

The way back was equally scenic…

…but now the general direction was down….

…at times the landscape changed

At one point we walked down a steep path which was more like a stream.

We came out near a nice pool.

Soon we were back to where we started.
