We headed for Riverside Park for 9.30am on Monday morning. Immediately the group showed their friendliness. The walk leader met us and gave us a warm welcome. We were told the weather forecast was not good so instead of going on the planned walk the group would go on a local walk.

Twelve people headed off, four women and eight men. Throughout the walk everyone was friendly and made us most welcome. The rain did arrive but nevertheless we had a very enjoyable walk. We will be going on many more rambles.
